Tennis superstar Nick Kyrgios is a huge admirer of the late, great Kobe Bryant. He has a tattoo of the Los Angeles Lakers great on his right arm. “I feel like when I put on his jersey or when I see him, I just feel like when I’m out on the tennis court or training or doing anything or just in times of adversity, you kind of just want to be resilient,”?Kyrgios said.

Kobe Bryant had many admirers in the tennis circuit. Naomi Osaka and Bryant had a very close relationship and Kyrgios addressed that. He said, “He was a massive tennis fan, and he’s had some close relationship with some of the tennis players as well, like Naomi Osaka has been very close with him and he just loved to help.”

Nick Kyrgios even stated that he tries to emulate Kobe whenever he’s playing tennis. He will be vying to win his first Grand Slam title when he faces Novak Djokovic at the Wimbledon Final.

The 20-time Grand Slam Champion shared a heartfelt post after the tragic passing of Kobe in 2020, as he called him his great friend and mentor. He also revealed that Kobe was always there for him.
