As the 2022-23 season of LNB Pro came to a close on Thursday, Victor Wembanyama officially completed his stint in the French league. Wembanyama’s team, the Boulogne-Levallois Metropolitans 92, failed to come out on top in the Finals as they succumbed to a 3-0 series loss against the AS Monaco Basket.

Three days after the loss, the 7’2 star took to his Instagram handle and shared a picture with his teammates along with a heartfelt caption. The caption read, “Best season ever, man. These guys made it special to me.” He also left a cryptic message in French, which read, “See you soon,” with a finger-crossed emoji.  

In addition to the IG post, he also reshared the post on his IG story and wrote a 3-word message that read, “Love you brothers.”
