In a recent interview, Davis talked about starting the season strong. But the fans are not impressed. Some were quick to point out the injury concerns of the former champion.

Davis missed a huge number of games last season and the one before because of injuries. Last season, the Lakers did not reach the playoffs despite the efforts of superstar LeBron James. At 37, James averaged 30 points per game last season. But it wasn’t enough to carry them to the playoffs. Russell Westbrook did not have a very good season considering his usual standards. Also, the big-3 of James, Westbrook, and Davis rarely played together.

For head coach Darvin Ham, identifying ways to maximize the potential of James, Davis, Westbrook, and Schr?der would be a huge challenge. However, it is a good headache to have, with multiple superstars on the team.
