NBA superstar Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors will be defending their title this season. After the recent violent altercation with Draymond Green and Jordan Poole, things looked a little bleak. However, it appears things have finally cooled down as Green and Poole played together in the preseason games. And the Warriors look ready for the start of the season. If they are not, apparently Anthony Davis is ready to spoil their ring night.

For their first game of the season, the Los Angeles Lakers face the Warriors in their home. And Davis wants to spoil the ring night for the Warriors. In a recent interview, Davis talked about starting the season strong. But the fans are not impressed. Some were quick to point out the injury concerns of the former champion.
Tell him to worry about not getting injured on the first game
Let alone worrying about spoiling the ring night— Rahul Patel (@Rahul_Reaper57) October 18, 2022
Some people play for championships while others play to spoil ring night.

Davis missed a huge number of games last season and the one before because of injuries. Last season, the Lakers did not reach the playoffs despite the efforts of superstar LeBron James. So the fans were not impressed with him claiming to spoil the reigning champions’ ring night. However, AD will be playing this season with a chip on his shoulder to prove his doubters wrong.
Are the Lakers a threat to Stephen Curry and the Warriors?
A healthy Lakers team is a contender without any doubt. However, keeping their stars fit has been a huge concern for them in the past two seasons. Unfortunately, the injury problems have already begun.
Dennis Schr?der is a recent addition to the squad who has previously played for Purple and Gold. He had a great FIBA World Cup campaign for Germany. So there was some hype about his return to Los Angeles. He played one pre-season game for the Lakers and is now out for at least three weeks after thumb surgery reportedly.
At 37, James averaged 30 points per game last season. But it wasn’t enough to carry them to the playoffs. Russell Westbrook did not have a very good season considering his usual standards. Also, the big-3 of James, Westbrook, and Davis rarely played together.

For head coach Darvin Ham, identifying ways to maximize the potential of James, Davis, Westbrook, and Schr?der would be a huge challenge. However, it is a good headache to have, with multiple superstars on the team.
