Miami Heat are finally back to looking like the team that played the NBA Finals 2020. They most recently defeated Utah Jazz 124-116 and proved they still have the biting teeth. It was Utah’s seventh season loss, and it surprisingly came right after their blowout victory against the Lakers.

The Heat now have a five-game win streak and two comparatively easier upcoming games against the Hawks. If they continue with the same pace, the playoff berth is very much assured for Erik Spoelstra’s hustlers.

So, how are the game-winners feeling after their win tonight?

Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo shared a memorable moment

After the win, Jimmy G. Buckets was giving a mandatory on-court interview when Bam decided to bust it with his antics. The 23-YO center came from the back and started showing his signature dance moves. That’s when Jimmy threw a card at him and forced him out in brotherly style. Take a look –

The five-time All-star was hinting towards the latest endorsement deal that Bam signed with the Jordan brand and joined other elite players that represent it.

Both Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo enjoyed a double-double night. Jimmy scored 33 points, 10 rebounds, 8 assists, and a steal, while Bam added 19 points, 11 boards, 7 assists, 1 steal, and a block.

Notably, none of the two scored any three-pointers because that responsibility fell on the reliable shoulders of Duncan Robinson and Goran Dragic.

How did Miami Heat pull this stunner on Utah Jazz?

When Utah’s bench-leader Jordan Clarkson scored that last-minute three-pointer to give themselves a Q1 lead, it looked as if the Jazz were under complete control.

However, the Heat had some efficient rotation minutes in Q2 to give them a lead by halftime. Later, a 12-point third quarter from Jimmy Butler kept the lead with the Heat and diluted another great effort from Donovan Mitchell. It was as if Jimmy was making a statement that he deserved that All-star mention.

It was a 2-point game with under 50 seconds remaining on the game clock when a combination of precise jump shots and FTs from Butler and Iguodala ensured the Heat take a lead that no buzzer-beater attempt could cover.

The Heat would be very happy to have beaten two WC top teams (Lakers and Jazz) in the same week, even as Tyler Herro still sits out. They’d now eye dragging their W% over 50 in the remaining games before the All-star break.
