Austin Reaves is enjoying one of the greatest glow-ups in NBA history. An undrafted kid out of Arkansas, HillBilly Kobe has quickly turned into a sensation. Whether it be his on-court effectiveness or his interviews, the man has, what many call, ‘it’.

As he’s carved out a role for himself as a starter in the NBA, the off-court rumor mill is starting to heighten as well. With a majestic run throughout the playoffs, Reaves has become a mainstay in the game. His game, however, seems to be more than just basketball.

While Reaves has enjoyed a dream-like run through the playoffs and might be on his way to a $100 million contract, the most shocking news of the season came in earlier. With rumors swirling about, Reaves’ brother, Spencer, has shared his feelings.

After her recent breakup with the 1975 frontman Matty Healy, Taylor Swift might be on the market for potential suitors. Swift, 33, and Healy, 34, had been linked together since early May and reportedly shared a ‘casual’ relationship. Healy was also in attendance for all six of Swift’s Eras Tour shows in Nashville and Philadelphia. As the pop singer has mostly dated people from the music world, Austin Reaves popping up on the radar was a shocker.

As the reports came in, it revealed that Swift, finishing her Era’s tour, was in a bar in Arkansas. While spotting up at a random bar wouldn’t be shocking at face value, it was her companion, Austin Reaves, that caused a ripple in the NBA news cycle.

When fans went on to congratulate the two, with the occasional snide comment, it was Spencer Reaves that broke through. Replying to the original tweet, Spencer could not control his laughter, however, leaving much to be desired. Earlier, the Lakers star had been linked with Jenna Barber. The two first met at Cedar Ridge High School in Newark, Arkansas, where they grew up. On the floor, however, Austin Reaves has been monumental in the Laker’s run through the NBA playoffs.

With free agency looming, the demand for a young scorer is going to be high. However, the Lakers are certain that they are going to match any offer for HBK.
