The Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James has proven his worth to be one of the greatest players of the hardwood. Over the years, he built his reputation around versatility and longevity on the court. Moreover, he always credited all the coaches who have helped shape him. Even though James played briefly under the guidance of the legendary NCAA coach Mike Krzyzewski, he considered him one of the greatest at the job. Furthermore, in a recent chat with King James, coach K revealed his GOAT conversation with his wife. 

The Lakers superstar had played under coach K between 2006-2012 and won two Olympic gold medals and a FIBA Championship. Moreover, Krzyzewski is known for his impressive track record, with three championships as an NCAA coach. The 76-year-old coach is all set to hang his boots as a coach after this season. Moreover, the coach has always had good things to say about the scoring champion because of the star’s prowess.

LeBron James and Coach K join in for a chat

In a recent TNT show titled ‘LeBron and Coach K Talk Legacy,’ James and Krzyzewski candidly discussed their careers. The coach slid into a conversation he had had with his wife regarding James. He said, “I would always go home and tell Mickey..who is the greatest and whatever, but LeBron, he’s the most complete.

He further went on to talk about 19 x All-Star’s ability to play all five roles on the hardwood. Coach K later asked James, “When you think of yourself as a player, How would you describe you?” James immediately responded, “I kinda describe myself like a Swiss army knife.”

Akron Hammer further gave his reasoning behind the Swiss Army Knife term. He compared the multi-faceted nature of the knife to his ability to play different positions. He added, “I’m just a basketball player, yeah that’s what, I’m not a point guard, I’m not a shooting guard… I’m a basketball player.”
