The Philadelphia 76ers faced off against the Denver Nuggets today for the first time this season. Both the MVP candidates Nikola Jokic and Joel Embiid gave it all on the court. Along with these stars, the shooting guard of the Sixers, James Harden’s defensive play in the game has caught the attention of NBA buffs. Harden’s tactical play has left the people confused and questioning the star at the same time. Though James Harden contributed to the Sixer’s win, people did not appreciate the star for this play.

Joel Embiid dominated the game with 47 points and 18 rebounds against the Nuggets. Harden played a crucial role by assisting the main star with 17 points and 13 assists. Although, fans seem to troll him for his defensive play.

The one-time MVP might have considered it to be a tactical play, but the fans do not. The 6’5 guard who was sitting on the bench with his teammates seemed to burst out of nowhere to deflect the pass of the Nuggets player. Though James Harden thought it might be a tactical play, the referees did not as the Nuggets were given back the ball.

Though fans are firing shots at Harden, the 10-time All-Star is having an efficient season with the Sixers. Harden is averaging 21.4 points, 6.4 rebounds, and a notable 11.1 assists this season. Along with their main man Joel Embiid’s dominating offense, Harden’s playmaking is playing a huge role for the team this season.

Sixers continue their win streak

The Sixers are currently on a roll as they extend their win streak to 7, with their win against the Nuggets today. The team is 9-1 in their last 10 games. The Sixers have a comfortable road to the playoffs as they stand as the 2nd seed in the Western Conference, with a record of 32-16. With their dominance on the offense, the Sixers might be a trouble in the Playoffs.
