Both these legends were attending the Ryder Cup a couple of weeks ago, during which they sat down and Stephen Curry got the opportunity to interview Michael Jordan. From discussing how MJ got into the sport, what he’s learnt from hit to also touching upon their puerile mini-beef, they didn’t leave anything. Since the talk was highly publicized, fans haven’t stopped talking about it.
So, when Steph appeared on ‘The Athletic NBA Show’ podcast, they had to ask him about his one-on-one experience with Jordan. “I didn’t know how deep Michael Jordan was into the Ryder Cup,” Steph began. “I think he has been to the last 11, if I am not mistaken. He makes a whole week out of it, shows up for the team in support.”
Steph defined the affair as “Surreal.” He never thought that he would sit with Jordan and talk about the cup. He further stated, “He was amazing, in terms of mentality. What golf has meant to him in his life, from a competitive standpoint and his influence within the Ryder cup.”
