The Dub Nation erupted in cheers when the Golden State Warriors comfortably won their fifth game in their last six matchups on Friday. While their road games continue to remain a concern, Stephen Curry‘s Warriors are hellbent on defending their championship as they aim for a spot in the playoffs. However, the latest Draymond Green incident proved to be a major issue that the team can’t afford to have at the moment.
Following their recent victory over the San Antonio Spurs, the Warriors remained the No. 6 seed in the Western Conference, but now they have the same record as the No.5 Los Angeles Clippers. The Warriors are finding form at the right time and with the potential return of Andrew Wiggins to the lineup, they’ll surely be one of the favorites heading into the postseason.

The collision took place in the second quarter of the game when the latter progressed towards the hoop. Green crashed into Jones and seemingly struck his knees with a rather brutal force. He was immediately seen grabbing his knee in pain while Jones fell to the floor due to the impact.
After the refs assessed the situation, the 4x NBA All-Star was seen limping off the court while Kevon Looney stepped in his place.
Stephen Curry and Warriors Fans weren’t pleased with the collision
With the playoffs just around the corner, fans are rather furious about Draymond Green’s split-second decision to face Tre Jones head-on. Given the crucial period that the Warriors are currently in, the Dub Nation criticized Green as they tried to make sense of his actions. One fan wrote, “He?s such an idiot why did he try to full body tackle him.”?
Whereas, another fan commented, “He cause the shit himself, wtf was he even trying to accomplish smh.” Take a look at a few more of the comments.

The Warriors can’t afford to lose a player with the playoffs just about two weeks away. Therefore, despite pointing out the absurdity of the situation, fans also hoped for Green’s fast recovery for the sake of the team.
Hope this is just one of those things that hurts immediately but doesn't last. Would devastate the Warriors to lose him for any real time. https://t.co/tfdIfLKIYo
