Kyrie Irving made his third appearance on the court following his suspension, as the Brooklyn Nets managed to win against the Toronto Raptors. After the game, Irving delivered a message to the world in regard to Thanksgiving. However, it appears that NBA fans did not appreciate his honest comments.

It’s evident that the environment around Irving has changed since his antisemitic controversy. Irving has since apologized for his conduct and pledged to spread love and positivity. During the post-game interview after the Brooklyn Nets‘ win over the Toronto Raptors, Irving said, “I don?t particularly celebrate Thanksgiving but anybody getting together with their families, blessings to all you guys. Enjoy the holiday, not a holiday for me, but please enjoy the food for me”.
Kyrie Irving has previously stated that he doesn’t consider Thanksgiving as a holiday. But as soon as the interview clip made it to the internet, some of the fan reactions are the opposite of what he likely would have expected. One of the fans said, “Stop putting a mic in front of him.”?

Many believe that there was nothing wrong with Irving’s message. Others blamed the seven-time All-Star for making it about himself once again.
Kyrie Irving’s comeback
Kyrie Irving made his comeback in Brooklyn Nets’ colors following his eight-game suspension against the Memphis Grizzlies. It was a slow start for Irving, as he dropped 14 points and 4 rebounds during 26 minutes of action. But the game ended with the Nets getting the victory by 12 points, the final score was 127-115.

Then the Nets faced the undermanned Philadelphia 76ers. Despite the 76ers being without the likes of?Joel Embiid, James Harden, and Tyrese Maxey they managed to defeat the Nets by 9 points. In that game, Irving scored 23 points, 2 rebounds, and 2 assists in 31 minutes. Then comes the latest game against the Toronto Raptors where Irving seems to have found his feet once again on the court.
