Recently, one of Jordan’s fiercest rivals, Isiah Thomas gave his verdict on who the greatest player ever is. The former Detroit Pistons legend chose LeBron James as the greatest player ever. This certainly wasn’t taken well by NBA fans around the world.

He entered the NBA as one of the most hyped drafts ever and was compared to legends ever since his debut. Interestingly enough, former Pistons star Isiah Thomas feels LeBron is the best to ever play the game.

Thomas said, “Based on what I’ve seen, LeBron James to me is the best who has ever played.” NBA fans on Twitter certainly did not like his opinion and bashed him mercilessly.

Interestingly enough, Jordan was once accused of conspiring against Thomas. When the team to represent the United States of America in the Barcelona Olympics 1992 was announced, Thomas’ name was missing. Many believed Jordan was behind Thomas’ surprising snub.

However, the Chicago Bulls legend rejected all such claims. He said, “I didn’t have anything to do with it. Isiah Thomas and my relationship has nothing to do with me being on this team.” Despite his clear message regarding his involvement in Thomas’ rejection, numerous fans around the world beg to differ.
