Shaunie Henderson’s life has seen a major transformation since she married Pastor Keion Henderson last year in May. Since then, she had been involved in some satisfying ventures with her husband, including a VH1 wedding special, a successful CRYOUT conference and a renewed stint with life being a pastor’s first lady after being an NBA wife for a long time. Despite having divorced Shaquille O’Neal more than a decade ago, Shaunie Henderson recently talked about the red flags from the previous marriage that still affect her. Moreover, the Basketball Wives star also admitted a big fear in front of her new husband Pastor Keion Henderson.

Shaunie and Keion Henderson have been together since 2021. Their relationship has helped the duo prosper in life and their partnership seems to be inspiring for fans as well. In the recent iteration of The Grow Zone Podcast, Shaunie Henderson joined her husband and host Keion Henderson to discuss their journey together, the ins and outs of marriage, and the importance of prayers. Meanwhile, the pastor revealed that he and Shaunie had some ‘non-negotiable’ things that they discussed during the early stages of their relationship. Keion asked his wife to reveal the non-negotiable actions she was not okay with. Shaunie Henderson replied, “Cheating! Still is. Watch it now!”

The sarcastic warning from the reality TV star prompted a reaction from her husband. Keion Henderson said, “I know. It goes both ways, it was your life. What else? What else were you saying?” In response, Shaunie Henderson stated, “Honestly! I think and correct me if I’m wrong. But, I think that was a deal breaker for me. Coming into a relationship, I was like, if you cheat on me. I’m out.”

Shaunie reckoned that infidelity was the biggest deal breaker for her after her difficult relationship with Shaquille O’Neal ended. “I was that dummie once in my life,” Shaunie added, hinting at her troubled relationship with the Big Diesel. Moreover, the renowned TV personality also admitted that the infidelity factor in her previous relationship made cheating a no go for her future romances.

Shaunie reveals the positive change in her new relationship

During the conversation, Keion Henderson asked Shaunie if she would recommend that people should discuss what they believed to be deal breakers to them before getting into a relationship. Shaunie Henderson responded, “Absolutely not!” Keion Henderson continued, “Because what it does is make you anticipate. And it makes you start looking for something. And now your trust is disintegrating at the thought of a trauma that you brought into the relationship.”

While agreeing with her husband’s observation, Shaunie shared, “Honestly! I felt like trust was my trigger. Trust was my issue in a relationship. So I came in all guarded like, I will not tolerate that ever again. So, it was my mistake of coming in with like, Listen if you do this, and I’m out. That’s a done deal. But it’s, I found it to be the one thing that doesn’t even cross my mind. Like, you have never given me a reason to look twice or doubt you in any way.”
