The Los Angeles Lakers have been disappointing fans this season and NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal is not happy. The Big Aristotle was already in a sour mood after the disappointing Dallas Cowboys game and the recent Lakers vs Los Angeles Clippers face-off only made it worse. LeBron James‘ Lakers lost their 10th straight game against their twin city rivals scoring 115 against the Clippers’ 133. Shaq Diesel’s discontented reaction was evident during the latest NBA on TNT episode.

The purple and gold team is currently positioned at No. 13 on the Western Conference rankings and has put up one of the most average performances this season. Despite LeBron James’ stellar efforts on the court, the team failed to rise as a contender marking them as one of the weakest teams.

Shaquille O’Neal fails to hide his displeasure

Hall of Famer Shaquille O’Neal had one of his most significant career moments with the Los Angeles Lakers. The 4x NBA champion won his first-ever three-peat with the Lakers which contributed a major part in building his incredible legacy. Therefore, it was given that Shaq would root for the Lakers even after his retirement. However, this season proved to be a disaster for the Lakers with more losses than wins despite having NBA superstar LeBron James. In the post-game episode of NBA on TNT, Shaq was seen crumpling papers while his co-host Adam Lefkoe read the fan tweets that were mostly in favor of the Los Angeles Clippers. Lefkoe also pointed out that the Clippers are now at 35-7 against the Lakers since 2012.

The 15x NBA All-Star responded by saying, “First the Cowboys lose, now this….Cowboys lose, now this. What’s their record again?”

When Lefkoe and former NBA star Jamal Crawford reminded him that the Clippers were now at 35-7, Shaq had nothing else to say other than shake his head in disappointment.

Lakers legend gets mocked after Cowboys’ defeat

Shaquille O’Neal is a Dallas Cowboys fan and has been an avid supporter of the team for quite a while now. Therefore, it was evident that he would be glued to the TV when the Cowboys were set to face the San Francisco 49ers in the NFL Divisional Round. Shaq, along with thousands of Dallas fans was dismayed when the 49ers defeated the Cowboys by 19-12 effectively kicking them out of the championship run.

However, that was not all for Shaq. Shortly after the game, former Lakers center got on FaceTime with Stephen A. Smith. The 3x NBA Finals MVP had to bear all the gloating by sports commentator?who happens to be a major Cowboys hater. Looks like it’s not just the Lakers who are going through a rough phase.
