The NBA season is officially underway. For the Lakers, they take on the Golden State Warriors in their opening matchup. Looking to get even for preseason, they are doing all the right things so far. However, loosening up could cost them big time. But Warriors star Stephen Curry seems to be having an off night.

The Lakers will look to get their hands on a win after a winless preseason. With a lot at stake, they are under a whole lot of pressure to perform. Likewise, they are doing exactly that and see themselves at an advantage at the half. The LeBron James and Anthony Davis duo are going off for the Lakers as they continue to stride towards a win.

Stephen Curry tries dunking and fails

Being down, everyone would expect Curry to shoot the Warriors back on top. However, the star is not having a great night. Missing shots and failing to make a big impact so far, the Bay is in visible trouble.

During a play, Curry and Green worked their magic to get a bucket, or at least that is how it was supposed to be. Green received the ball in the post and looked to make a play. Likewise, Curry cut to the basket and Draymond put the ball in his hands. However, Stephen Curry got caught in two places and missed a simple opportunity. He seemed confused about choosing to dunk or finish with the layup and ended up getting neither.

Fans sure had a laugh about the Curry trying to dunk.

The Lakers sure look like a changed squad since the preseason. The James and AD combination is working its magic as they have combined for 38 points at the half. Melo has also added 8 points off the bench. However, Russell Westbrook continues to struggle as he has put up just 2 points on 1/7 shooting.

For the Warriors, Stephen Curry is the top scorer. However, he hasn’t been efficient for them tonight. Apart from him, veteran Andre Iguodala added quick 8 points to his tally throughout the game. Preseason hero, Jordan Poole, is struggling, shooting just 2-8 from the field with 4 points.
