America has seen multiple incidents of mass shootings over the years. Quite recently two shootings took place that shook people. We are past the Conference Finals and we have got the two teams that will play for the NBA Finals. But it doesn?t matter when there are much more important issues around to be worried about. That?s what Steve Kerr thinks. His sentiment is of absolute frustration, and his words are something that everyone thinks about these shootings.
?It?s a weird sort of balancing act between how horrified we all are with what actually matters,? Kerr said on Sunday, ?and a basketball game that?s really meaningful to us in our profession and our fans and all of that.?

?But comparison, who the hell cares,? Steve said, adding what he felt and what he meant was that there are more important things than a game of basketball. He is trying to focus on the game ahead, but things like this obviously take your mind off things that are in front of you.
He said that he is clueless about how to cope with situations like these. It horrifies him and all they can do at the moment is stay focused and keep preparing for the final. He continued, ?But it?s impossible to take your mind off of the tragedy, the horror, the devastation of all the families that are forever going to be grieving and are forever altered. It?s a very difficult thing to reconcile.?

This was not the first time he had addressed the shootings. The last time he did, he was emotional and absolutely gutted. He could not control himself and you could see how much such incidents hurt him. He was almost holding back tears. His anger was proof that he truly is disturbed and wants some actions to stop these shootings from happening.
As soon as he sat down for media availability, Steve Kerr said that he was not going to talk about basketball. He was absolutely fuming, and he blamed the senators for not taking the necessary action. He said he has had enough and quite frankly everyone else as well.

Inside the NBA crew were low in their voices and were just as disheartened as Steve. Kerr also said that holding silent and offering condolences is not doing any good and it?s high time to take action to stop such incidents from happening once and for all. His anger was evident as he banged the table with his hand a few times. In reality, Steve Kerr spoke on behalf of the people who want to see change happen.?
