Sydel Curry, Stephen Curry’s younger sister, welcomed her first baby boy with Golden State Warriors guard Damion Lee, Stephen’s teammate and close friend. Through her social media account, she shared the good news with the people and mentioned their happiness.

She posted a beautiful picture of the baby on her Instagram account.

“No words are enough to describe the bliss of having my sweet son here. We are in newborn bliss and soaking in every single moment,” she captioned. The caption also mentioned that he has a special relationship with both his uncle and grandfather.

They named their child Daxon Wardell-Xavier Lee since it is a combination of Dell and Stephen. The couple’s journey to conceive a child was not easy, and the news of their pregnancy was a wonderful surprise. 

Sydel talked and opened up on social media about the procedure and the difficulties the family encountered. Additionally, we also got to see Stephen and Ayesha’s reactions when they found out about the news.

This included full-blown laughter, joy, and Stephen jumping on the furniture. The love they have for that child is evident in their happiness.

In one of the interviews they gave to People magazine, the couple spoke about their son and how they are preparing everything to make it a great place for him. “We want this to be his place of solace, a safe space for him to rest and feel at home,” Curry-Lee said in the magazine.

Additionally, they talked about how “It’s a great space for us to get away from all the distractions of the outside world and focus on our baby,” Lee explained.

Talking about the nursery, she said, “We’re having a little boy, and I’m not much of a blue kind of girl,” Sydel added. “I wanted to keep a neutral tone but with a pop of color.Following their wedding back in 2018, the couple announced their exciting news in a photoshoot with their sonogram.
