The Warriors held the ring ceremony for the fourth title in the past eight years on Tuesday night. While fans have witnessed plenty of ring ceremonies in the past, this year’s event might be one of the most highlighted ones. However, it is not the game that followed nor the players that stole the spotlight, but the rings themselves that have become the talk of the town.

The astounding rings were crafted by Jason of Beverley Hills, who created the Warriors’ previous three championship rings as well. Each ring contains personalized features for each of the players. The estimated value of an NBA championship ring is said to be somewhere between $15,000 and $50,000, while some can go as high as $100,000.

The Warriors previously won the 2015, 2017, and 2018 NBA championships.

Stephen Curry’s personalized championship ring

The 2022 championship ring displays the Warriors banner and is made up of 16 carats of yellow and white diamonds. The number 16 represents the Golden State Warriors’ total wins in the 2022 playoffs. This is the first time that yellow diamonds were used to make the championship rings.

Furthermore, the ring features seven carats of cushion-cut diamonds, that represent the organization’s seven total championship titles. Additionally, Jason of Beverley Hills added 43 baguettes in the bridge, which signifies Stephen Curry’s impressive 43-point haul during Game 4 of the Finals.

The highlight is arguably the hidden section that is revealed by twisting the top part of the ring. When removed, the secret compartment exposes the total number of trophies won by each Warriors star.

What makes it more interesting is that the section can only be opened through a specific lever that is designed in accordance with the architectural characteristic of the Warriors’ home arena, the Chase Center. Additionally, the Warriors’ motto ‘Just Us’ is inscribed in the ring.
