The Golden State Warriors have dropped their form recently. After a lot of dominating performances, Stephen Curry?s side has kept themselves 2nd in the Western Conference for a long time now. With the record, 43-19 they stand strong only behind the Suns, who have an impressive record of 49-12. February has not been favorable to the Warriors as compared to the other months. With the dip in form, they can now feel Memphis Grizzlies breathing down their neck with a record of 43-20.
They have now suffered two defeats in a row and the most recent would sting them more. The Minnesota Timberwolves brushed aside the Golden State Warriors 129-114 on Tuesday night.

Stephen Curry and Warriors slip up
We can call it a slip-up to define Warriors’ dip in recent form. However, the time has not yet passed to make amends for it. They have won 6 games in the last 12 games, which is not bad, but considering that they are 2nd seed and they aim to enter the playoffs on a high, it is certainly a bad run of games. Not only that, but we should also consider how the Memphis Grizzlies, 3rd, have surged their way through to make a fair shout for the 2nd spot in the Western Conference. Stephen and Warriors’ concerns will only increase from here.
Marc J. Spears is a senior NBA writer for the Undefeated, ESPN. He mentioned how, after a crushing defeat against the Timberwolves, Curry seemed noticeably worried about his team?s form as well as his own. Marc rightly said that the Warriors must be glad that February has ended because of their poor run. Unfortunately, they have started March in the same disappointing spirit.
?If they are not careful, they don?t get it together, whether Draymond?s there, James Wiseman?s there, or Klay?s in and out, like they could be looking at the number 3 seed and certainly a much harder road in the postseason,? said Marc.?

Warriors and Grizzlies – a close finish!
The Warriors’ record in February is the reason for the recent worries. They went 5-5 in February. Whereas Grizzlies piled the pressure on them by having a focused run with 8-2 in February. This is a vital time in the season where playoffs can be defined. The Warriors have 8 home games left and 13 on the road. On the other hand, the Grizzlies have 11 home games left, 9 on the road.?
Ja Morant has been crucial so far for the Grizzlies and the star man responsible for their surging run of games. The 22-year-old has impressed with an average of 27.6 points. Recently he broke his own Grizzlies record as he grabbed 52 points in a victory against the Spurs.?
