Stephen Curry had an awesome night at the All-Star game. He went off for 50 points in an outrageous display of long-range shooting. Curry put on a show as he drained shots from everywhere and knocked down a record 16 threes. But the city of Cleveland wasn’t kind to him at the start.
Curry was part of the Golden State Warriors team which met the Cleveland Cavaliers in the Finals four times. He has gotten the better of them 3 times out of 4 and he is not a popular figure in Cleveland. Curry used to give the Cavs fans nightmares, and they didn’t appreciate his comments after the first title run. So when he arrived in Cleveland, he was greeted with a barrage of boos from the fans. It started when Curry was introduced in practice and continued until his introduction at the game.
There were even some boos when Curry was honored for being named in the NBA 75 team. He didn’t seem fazed by it at all as he knocked down 3 after 3 on route to his 50. And Curry showed what a nice person he is, even after the boos.

The total came up to $108,000, which will be used for basketball programs in the school.
