Stephen Curry has all the reasons to celebrate right now. He and his team are on top of the NBA world. In addition to winning the 4th NBA title in 8 years, Curry has also won the long-awaited finals MVP. The celebrations were huge and the fans in San Francisco were absolutely elated to welcome the champions.

The Warriors’ squad was all extremely excited about the celebrations. However, Steph made sure to take out the time for an important message for young players. Not basketball players, but golfers. He initiated a new golf tour aimed at providing a competitive, all-expenses-paid opportunity for underrepresented young players. He launched and announced the planned golf tour in April. And the start of the tour is here.

Curry shared a reel a couple of days ahead of the start of the tour, which is set to take place from 21 to 23 June. He said in the reel that he was looking forward to the celebrations and he could not wait to get out for the celebratory parade. Other than that, he also wished for Juneteenth Day. After that, Curry said, ?With the same mindset to accessibility to everyone, we brought the Underrated Golf Tour, which is kicking off tomorrow, in the legendary Cog Hill, Chicago.?

Everybody knows Steph loves the game of golf. Curry said in April that he was really looking forward to extending his love for golf and helping the best young players across America. He said in a video posted to Twitter on April 21, “Less than 2% of golfers are people of color, and our tour provides a platform for equity, access, and opportunity for boys and girls who want to play and compete with the current best players on the AJGA.”

The Tour consists of five events that kick off in Chicago on June 21. The conclusion of the tour is to take place in Curry’s and the Warriors’ own Bay Area at TPC Harding Park, August 28 to 30.
