NBA superstar, Stephen Curry, is one of the most influential players in recent times. His efficiency behind the arc has changed the game in more than one way. However, the four-time NBA champion is influential off the court as well. Curry has been one of the vocal players in the last few years whenever there was a need for a voice. Over the years, he has been very critical and honest about his opinion of the former US President, Donald Trump. He once refused to take part in the ritual of visiting the White House after winning the title.
?I don?t want to go,? Curry reiterated. Curry added that if it was just about him visiting the White House, it would be a short conversation. When asked about the reason behind his decision, the former MVP stated that he doesn’t stand with what Trump has said and not said over the years. Head coach, Steve Kerr, did not want to visit the White House as well. So the Golden State Warriors announced that they would take a decision.

This prompted Donald Trump to dis-invite the Warriors to the White House. Now, Curry has again spoken about the Republican politician. This time Curry has called the EX-POTUS a “threat.”

Stephen Curry talked about the possibility of Donald Trump running for president again. ?Most of his rhetoric ? before he was president, during his four years, and even now, if he tries to run again ? has a tone of divisiveness that doesn?t have a place in our country,? Curry told the magazine. ?As serious and loud as the threat is of him or whoever else is running for office, there?s a similar urgency and a loudness that?s necessary on the other side.?

The former MVP has always used his platform well as a superstar to get his opinions through to the people. He has been vocal about the circumstances of WNBA star, Brittney Griner, in Russia as well. At the 2022 ESPYs, Curry was wearing a Griner jersey and spoke about her situation.
