The biggest trade of the season went down just a couple of hours before the trade deadline. The Brooklyn Nets sent James Harden and Paul Millsap in exchange for Ben Simmons, Andre Drummond, a couple of draft picks, and Seth Curry, the brother of Warriors Superstar Stephen Curry.
Harden was not happy with his situation, and he wanted to be traded to the Sixers. Simmons had made his intentions clear that he had wanted to be traded long ago. He hadn’t played a minute this season. Both parties seemed to be happy with the deal, but that was not the case for the other players involved in the deal.
Seth Curry was a key player for the 76ers and he was very happy with the situation at his previous team.

But the Nets weren’t budging unless Seth was included in the deal and the 76ers obliged. That’s the risk of being an NBA player, as they can be traded at any point in time, disrupting their entire livelihood. Stephen Curry, his brother, gave his opinion about what he thought about the trade.

Steph was asked about his opinion about the trade. He said, “I had to change my favorite teams in my phone to get the alerts from Philly to Brooklyn. It was obviously a big move, a big splash, I know he was kind of caught in the crossfire of Philly making a move like that. Because he loved it there, loved playing there, and they were playing well.”

Curry said. ” But obviously you’ve got to make that move. Win-win for him. Hopefully, he can still be a contender and be impactful in the playoff chase with Brooklyn. Excited to see him in a new uni.”

Seth was having his best season and will want to prove his old team wrong. He will also get an opportunity to play with Kevin Durant, one of the greatest players of all time. The Nets are also a contender, and Seth will try to help them get that coveted Larry O’Brien trophy.
