The NBA has seen some iconic celebrations come and go. From LeBron James’s silencer to Kobe Bryant’s infamous fist pump, some celebrations stay on forever. And in the Golden State Warriors’ epic championship run, Stephen Curry started off his own little ritual. For the entire playoffs, Steph was a different breed in clutch time. And after putting the game away, he pulled out his sleep celebration. However, he isn’t the only athlete to do it and fans felt no credit was necessary.
Curry has arguably been single-handedly responsible for changing basketball. The three-point era likely began once Steph became a threat from beyond the arc. His impact spread across every position and having a good jump shot is now a key development for any player. Arguably, the Baby Face Assassin has left behind a legacy no one will eclipse anytime soon.

The same impact was coming up with his celebrations across the world of sports. However, fans weren’t having it.
Stephen Curry didn’t start his iconic celebration?
Stephen Curry probably had the best playoffs of his career this season. After two years of slumber, he carried the Golden State Warriors to an NBA title. Notably, for the first time in his career, the face of the Bay was awarded the Finals MVP. Writing his own legacy, Curry broke many hearts during his emphatic run in the NBA playoffs. And he got the crowd going crazy with his sleeping celebration.

However, this time, the fans got it right. Curry isn’t the first one to put the celebration to use. Many athletes have put their own creative spin and enjoyed the celebration. But Curry probably has the coldest move out there. His signature no-look three is one of the craziest moves out in the NBA. And Steph has his name all over it. Doing it with the utmost confidence, no one can likely match the Baby Face Assassin. Moreover, there are a lot more still left in his bag.
