There was a lot of talent sitting in suits. I’ve been watching basketball for a long time; I’m a historian of the game. I don’t know any other team that’s gotten to the Finals without two All-Stars,” James claimed that the Cavs had immense talent but were plagued by injuries. He also remarked that the absence of the two All-stars was unprecedented. These comments were not taken well by Stephen Curry and the Warriors fans.??

Stephen Curry responded to the comments made by James with some clever wording.?“I apologize for us being healthy. I apologize for us playing who was in front of us,? I apologize for all the accolades we received as a team and individually. I’m very, truly sorry, and we’ll rectify that situation this year,”? Curry said ironically. In fact, he technically apologized for the historic success of the Warriors.?
