Kobe Bryant?s words were the highlight for Stephen Curry
Steph Curry was recently featured on the Point Forward podcast with Andre Iguodala and Evan Turner. They talked about what motivates Steph, how humility fuels his superpower, and the perks and disadvantages of being the face of the league for so many years running.

Among all things, he also shared an incident during a game against Kobe?s Lakers early in his career, which had a massively positive impact. Steph then took the mantle and has been carrying the Warriors team with a passion ever since.
Stephen shared that it was in his second year in the league. Incidentally, the Warriors at the time were 10-12 points down according to Steph and he was trying to convert the turnovers. He made a three, twin-spin type of move and scored along with a step back. This is when Kobe, who was on the bench mid-game, said the words of praise for Steph.

Steph shared how Kobe also appreciated the ?silent killer? vibe Curry has to his game. Stephen Curry admitted this was the moment after which he continued to get better.
?He respected that [the way Steph played] and recognized that and that to me was ultimately the gas in the tank.?
