Stephen Curry and the Warriors will be delighted with the progress shown by Klay Thompson. After a two-year sabbatical, Thompson will make his return to the Golden State setup. Steve Kerr and co. would have desperately missed the services of the veteran in his absence. But now, California’s two favorite sons will reunite and wreak havoc in the league again. Ahead of the new season, the blue and yellow brigade await the comeback of their star shooting guard. Leader Stephen Curry is also excited and speaks out about the anticipated return.
When is Klay Thompson returning?
Over the past couple of seasons, the Warriors were by-standers, as other teams raced ahead of them. Unsurprisingly, Curry was their best player, but did not get the desired support. Other injuries didn’t help Golden State’s cause either, with experienced players on the sidelines often. This left the team in a hapless situation, and Curry was fending for himself. In a positive sign, however, Klay Thompson is not too far away from returning to match fitness.
