It sure must have been surreal for the players to perform in front of a humongous crowd of 68,323. In addition to this accomplishment, the Warriors got the best of the Spurs at their home court in front of their fans by 31 points, ruining what was to be a memorable night. Although the Spurs fans were disappointed about the loss, the crowd was, nevertheless, electric and loud.?
Stephen Curry, who has created historic nights on his own, is now a part of another record-breaking match. Curry assisted his teammates with 15 points, 3 assists, and 4 rebounds.?

Curry took out some time to appreciate the San Antonio crowd for a record-setting match and a memorable experience on his social media. The 2x MVP mentioned “All love San Antonio..68k in the Alamodome” on his Instagram post.?

Steph shared his excitement in a press game conference before the match. He told the press “It’ll be really cool and unique to be a part of a record-setting night. I’ve never been to Alamodome”. He added, ” Those Spurs fans are legit, we’ll see how the road atmosphere is. They have a real home-court advantage”. However, the home-court advantage clearly did not help the Spurs.?

Warriors guard Jordan Poole and Donte DiVincenzo shined bright on their win. Poole put up 25 points and 7 assists, while DiVincenzo put up 22 points and 7 rebounds. It was not the first time DiVincenzo shined at the Alamodome. Previously in 2016, DiVincenzo scored a match-winning 31 points for the Villanova Wildcats to win the NCAA Championship.?

The Warriors are currently the 6th seed in the Western Conference and have a record of 21-21. Though the Warriors had a poor start to the season, the team has bounced back. The team has managed to have a record of 6-4 in their last 10 games, with Curry out in most of the games. With all the main starters, Andrew Wiggins, Andre Iguodala, and Curry back, the fans are looking out for a better performance from the team.
