The Curry family is famous in NBA circles. The father, Dell Curry, played in the 80s and 90s. Seth Curry is the younger brother of Stephen Curry from the Golden State Warriors. Being the younger brother, Seth was always compared to Steph. Seth and Steph played against each other all their lives, perfecting their games and improving each other. Steph got drafted very high in the 2009 draft. Many believed Seth would follow the same route, but he faced numerous challenges that made him go undrafted in 2013. Steph had praised his brother in ’08 and boldly claimed he would be better than him. He had said, “He’s going to be as good or better than I am.”?But, despite his brother’s prediction, Seth fell short of impressing the scouts.?

The long and grueling journey of Seth Curry to the NBA

Seth Curry was a talented prospect growing up, similar to his brother. He dominated high school and put up monster stats, even beating his brother. The domination and excellence continued in college, where he was the top-scoring freshman in the nation. But he battled several injuries in the following years, which affected his performance on the court. The guard went undrafted and had to settle for playing in the D-League. Seth was a journeyman for the next three years, often playing on 10-day contracts and getting waived from teams. But his hard work and determination to make it to the NBA landed him a spot on the Sacramento Kings in 2016.

Fast forward half a decade, and Seth has found his place in the NBA. He is considered by many to be in the upper echelon of shooters. His career three-point percentage stands at a whopping 43.9% which is even higher than his brother. He currently plays for the Brooklyn Nets alongside Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving.
