NBA players influence many young talents as they emerge in the league. Being someone’s favorite player or even being a big name is a huge deal. Likewise, Stephen Curry fits that category perfectly, as not only is he a household name but also one of the most influential players in the league.

Now, he is starting his mentorship role with one of the top college athletes.

Curry changed the game of basketball with his shooting excellence. Not only did he dominate the game, but he was solely responsible for a change in mindset. He proved that no matter what the size or background, anyone can dominate the game with the right tools.

Stephen Curry continues to inspire the next generation

One of the main reasons why Curry is able to dominate the game is his mindset and work ethic. Arguably, being the greatest shooter of all time has not deterred him from the work he puts in. Despite a flood of injuries early in his career, Curry didn’t give up and kept his goals as his only focus.

Now, the Baby Face Assassin is a three time NBA champion and a two time league MVP.

When it comes to inspiring the next generation, no one does it better than Curry. Recently, he made a big move and signed the first ever athlete to SC30.

Stephen Curry signed Azzi Fudd, who is the former number one women’s high school basketball recruit and was also part of the SC30 select camp.

Fudd is one of the best women’s basketball players coming up. She recently signed with UConn to continue her basketball journey. She won the 2021 Morgan Wootten HS Basketball Player of the Year and is still growing in the sport.

Now, she becomes the first athlete under the SC30 program, which includes mentorship, professional growth and also brand development.

This is a great opportunity to be mentored by none other than Stephen Curry. The sharpshooter has steadily grown his popularity as time goes on and his mindset remains the same. To have a mentor like Curry will be very beneficial for Fudd in her journey, as she joins the programme.
