Stephen Curry is one of the most famous players in the NBA. The Golden State Warriors star was drafted from Davidson College in the 2009 NBA draft. Since then, Curry since has had an impeccable and scandal-free career. Curry’s humility and good nature on the court have earned him quite a reputation among fans. The former MVP appeared in an interview in 2013 with ESPN magazine. Despite his reputation as the ‘ideal citizen,’ Curry was late by five hours for the interview as he was watching a college football game.
Stephen Curry hilariously reveals some of his bad habits
The interview began as Stephen Curry apologized to the host Sam Alipour. Alipour then started the interview looking for dirt on the All-star point guard. When asked what else was ‘bad’ about him apart from his punctuality. Curry replied he was one of the bigger procrastinators.
Moreover, Curry also revealed how his hygiene and sloppiness around the house and behind the cameras were not his best qualities. He also confessed that his wife, Ayesha Curry, would probably tell he is the “messiest person in the history of husbands.”
Curry admitted, “If Coach McKillop, from Davidson, reads this article, he’ll be disappointed in me. He says, “Sloppiness is a disease.” And I spread that virus a lot.” Curry’s coach from college also shares a similar distaste for his horrendous hygiene.

Another one of Curry’s quirks regarding hygiene is his unusual habit of chewing on his mouth guard. Steph has been doing this since his days in Davidson. It has become one of his biggest trademarks as a player. However, some dental experts have expressed their concerns about the four-time champion’s habit in the past.
