The Golden State Warriors turned the tide during their last game against the red-hot Philadelphia 76ers. A game that seemed to be in the bag for Philadelphia, quickly got out of hand after Stephen Curry and the Warriors turned the switch and made an amazing comeback to win the game. During the press conference, a reporter tried to poke some fun at the four-time NBA champion, leading him to accept one of his biggest drawbacks.

The Warriors had their work cut out against the 76ers as Philly entered the night on the back of winning 9 out of their last 10 games. Philadelphia star Joel Embiid went off for a 46-point performance after Draymond Green fueled his fire. Yet, it was the Warriors’ bench that came to the rescue.

The Splash Brothers Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson both ended the night with 20+ points for the game. However, it was Jordan Poole’s amazing scoring outburst in the fourth quarter that tipped the game back in the Warriors’ favor.

While talking to reporters after the game, Stephen Curry was forced to admit a weakness in his game. Despite being the best shooter in NBA history, Curry was humble enough to accept where his shortcomings lay.

The reporter asked him whether Curry knew the three-word slogan the team used to make a strong comeback in the fourth quarter. And the eight-time All-Star drew a blank until the reporter gave him a hint.

The reporter stated one word saying, “Protect.” This led Curry to complete the rest of the phrase by saying, “Protect the house,” referring to taking a stand at their home court since they hosted the 76ers. Curry went on to say, “You threw the lob at me. You guys know I’m not an above-the-rim type guy.” while laughing it off with Monte Poole, the reporter from NBC Sports.
