The hoops community has been considering the Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry as a generational talent ever since his rookie season. In the span of  14 seasons, Curry has signed various multi-million dollar deals through endorsements. Moreover, the deals always got bigger and better, as he grew into a superstar for the Warriors. Additionally, Curry recently upgraded his deal with a Billion dollar company.

The Chef has multiple brand deals with companies like Rakuten, Chase, FTX, Infiniti motor company, and many more. However, it’s always the sneaker deal that will intrigue a basketball fan. Just like Michael Jordan found his home with Nike, Curry laced up with Under Armour. It wouldn’t be an exaggeration to mention that Under Armour attained global popularity after its relationship with the Dubs superstar in 2013. 

Stephen Curry bags a bankable deal

After successfully completing a decade-long journey with Under Armour, Stephen Curry recently signed a deal to further extend his contract. According to The Athletic, this lucrative deal could become a potential lifetime deal for the superstar. Along with the deal, the company ensured a long-time partnership with Curry by making him the president of the Curry brand. The Curry brand has launched 10 signature shoes till now.

Moreover, the company added that the position will enable Curry to “drive athlete insights, product development, and strategic business and marketing endeavors.

In response to the deal, Curry said, “Belief is a big part of who I am on and off the court.I believe in Curry Brand and Under Armour, the team now in place, and what we’re doing together. We share a vision for a big future ahead.” This announcement came a year after Curry disclosed the worth of his deal to Rolling Stone, which is $1 Billion. 

Nike and NBA superstars

The notable sneaker contracts of NBA superstars have always been Nike. The legendary Air Jordan stands tall as proof, along with LeBron James’ signature shoes. Similarly, Curry also began his NBA journey with Nike, but things took a turn and he decided not to renew his deal for a weird reason. Ever since, he has been a loyal ally of Under Armour.
