Fans rally behind rising star for an extended future with the Warriors

Since their win against the Los Angeles Lakers on opening night, the Warriors have massively underperformed in over two months of regular season action. However, the past few games have turned a new page for the defending champions. Last night they faced off against the Charlotte Hornets. In a game that went down to the wire, the Warriors narrowly came out on top with a final score of 110-105.

The Warriors, who had the lead for most of the game, faced a comeback from the Hornets with just 3 mins to go in the fourth quarter. However, due to the heroic contributions of Jordan Poole and Jonathan Kuminga, they were able to take home the win last night. Jordan Poole, who recently signed a $123 million for four years, put up 24 points, two rebounds, and six assists.

However, Kuminga, 20, who came off the bench last night, proved to be instrumental for the win. The young forward put up 14 points, six rebounds, and two assists. Moreover, he also came in clutch with big plays in the game’s final minutes to seal the victory for the Warriors. Kuminga has been averaging 7.5 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 1.5 assists for the season.
