Curry’s comments have been music to Hornets fans. Over the years, The Charlotte Hornets have tarnished the reputation of His Airness with unending seasons of mediocrity. In 2010, Billionaire Michael Jordan acquired the then Charlotte Bobcats for $275 Million. Fast forward over a decade, and Jordan has only realized a monetary gain on his investment; the Hornets are now worth over $1.5 Billion. Since becoming the team’s majority owner, the Hornets have made the playoffs only twice. Moreover, they were knocked out of the first round on both occasions.
Apart from the struggling season, MJ has also taken a hit to his reputation from the failed drafts.
