However, the 2x MVP had a profound moment when he met his heir apparent from the NCAA, Taylor Robertson. After learning that Robertson was in attendance, the NBA All-time leader in three-pointers wanted to meet her. Incidentally, Robertson took part in Curry’s warmup routine before the game.?

The two sharpshooters shared a wholesome moment after the game, which is evident in this now viral clip posted on Twitter by Warriors on NBCS. Curry signed her jersey and posed for a portrait with her which took center stage on all media headlines and social media trends the next morning. Robertson, filled with emotions, almost broke down in tears after meeting her idol. When asked why he wanted to meet her, Curry explained, “Obviously a sharpshooter who has done some amazing things in her college career, “To break that record and she’s done it (with) that same thing, I try to pride myself on that volume and efficiency. I think she’s shooting 44 percent from three in her career….”
After singing glowing praises of #30 on the Sooners, Curry humbly said,?“I know she’s looked up to me from the time she’s started hooping. So pretty special, glad we can play well and get the win.”
Taylor Robertson’s impressive run
Taylor Robertson recently broke the NCAA women’s division 1 all-time 3-point record total, which stood at 497. Robertson currently holds the record at a whopping 503 threes made. In her five seasons with the Sooners, Robertson has averaged 16 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 2.0 assists, with a historic range of 43.6 % from the three.
