Warriors star Stephen Curry recently broke the record for most 3-pointers in the NBA. Needless to say, he is one of the game’s best-ever shooters. For over a decade now, Curry has led Golden State in fine style, blowing everyone’s mind with his long-range madness. But how does he compare with fellow aces, such as former teammate Kevin Durant?
Both Kevin Durant and Stephen Curry are among the most gifted basketball players ever. During their time together at Golden State, the pair won two titles together. In 2019, however, KD moved away from the franchise, joining the Brooklyn Nets. Although ever since neither of them has managed to rack up a title, their individual scoring statistics have been impeccable. Even this year, Curry and Durant average around 27 and 30 points, respectively`.

Stephen Curry makes bold statement about himself in comparison to Kevin Durant
Over the past few seasons, the Warriors have struggled to notch consistent victories. In spite of his terrific talent, there is no doubt that GSW’s prized #30 is not the most physically gifted, in terms of height and build. Yet, he has outclassed everyone that has stood in his path. In a recent interview, Steph spoke about achieving greatness, despite being of a relatively smaller build.
On a YouTube video with GQ, the 33-year-old addressed a fan who said Curry and Durant are in a league of their own. The fan was specifically referring to their scoring prowess. To this, Steph replied, “I’ve always admired the way KD gets it done.”

“Obviously playing against him for many years, and being his teammate for three years. He is the most gifted scorer in terms of being able to get a shot off. But when it comes to overall skill and the way that I try to get it done at 6’3, if I’m in that comparison and at the top of the league in terms of scoring, then I’m doing something right.”
