Toronto started off the series well with a 3-1 lead as the Warriors traveled to Canada for Game 5. The defending champions Warriors were in a tough situation during their shot at a potential three-peat. However, a horrific incident involving Stephen Curry’s family before Game 5 led the Warriors superstar to call out the Raptors fans.
Stephen Curry slammed Raptors fans after terrible incident
The Curry family became a target of the Toronto Raptors as they faced harassment before Game 5. Shockingly, a Raptors fan heckled and harassed Steph’s parents, Dell and Sonya Curry, outside their hotel in Toronto. After winning Game 5 by 106-105, Steph was asked about his opinion on the aggressive behavior of fans toward his family.
Curry reckoned that it was difficult to avoid such reactions after being at the center stage for five years. He pointed out that it was pretty common for fans to try to leave a mark on the series in some way, predominantly on social media.?
