‘Gave the encouragement’: Stephen Curry on how Michael Jordan helped his brand

Naturally, the Jordan brand generated massive craze among the masses. Selling shoes and merchandise, the company has made merry as time has gone by. As a result, Curry has spoken with the Chicago Bulls legend, in order to gain knowledge about the business. In a recent interview with Nick DePaula, the 33-year-old shared how his meeting with Jordan made him believe in his own brand.

Upon being asked if him and Jordan talked about having their own brands during their Ryder Cup meeting, Curry said, “It came up a little bit. It was actually interesting to think about where Jordan brand was when MJ retired and where it is now. Just the amazing growth that they’ve had. Obviously he’s the GOAT, he’s a legend, he has kind of paved the way for this generation to do what we’re doing. He kinda gave the encouragement to keep doing what I’m doing and make sure it’s authentic to me.”
