The world of football was struck with a devastating blow today during the Cincinnati Bengals vs Buffalo Bills game. Bills player Damar Hamlin was rushed to the hospital after he collapsed during the game due to a sudden cardiac arrest. The whole stadium was in shock to see Hamlin being carried off the ground. Meanwhile, NBA players too made sure to join in the prayers for Hamlin?s speedy recovery.

During the first quarter of the game, Damar Hamlin tackled Bengals receiver Tee Higgins. To put it in the words of an ESPN correspondent, who was broadcasting the game, ?Hamlin made a hit, he got up, took a couple of steps and then just fell to the ground.?

Various NBA players from different teams joined in as soon as they heard the tragic news about Hamlin. According to recent reports, Hamlin suffered a cardiac arrest while playing and is in a critical condition as of now. Even though his heartbeat was restored on the pitch, there has been no positive update yet.

Players like Stephen Curry, Donovan Mitchell, Klay Thompson, and Mike Conley all went to social media to join the rest of the NBA world to pray for Hamlin.? Stephen Curry posted a video on his Instagram story with the ?hands joined together? emoji, which indicated that he too is praying for Hamlin. Another Warriors star, Klay Thompson took the time to address the condition Hamlin is in on behalf of the entire Golden State Warriors organization during his postgame interview.

Even Donovan Mitchell made sure to send his prayers for the speedy recovery of Hamlin after he dropped 71 points for his career-high performance.

Utah Jazz guard Mike Conley made sure to send out a tweet for the 24-year-old player as he is still in critical condition.?
