Several reports came out yesterday that the Warriors had a scuffle between two players. It was reported that Draymond Green and Jordan Poole got into an argument which later escalated into a scuffle. And Green reportedly used violence to escalate the incident even further. They later had to be separated from each other. Draymond Green was reportedly fined after the incident.
Teammates getting into arguments and scuffles is quite common. But rarely it leads to physical violence. And on those occasions, things don’t always end well for the organization.
Stephen Curry says the Warriors camp has great vibes despite the fight
Stephen Curry came out to a press conference to address the situation. The Dubs superstar relatively played down the incident and insisted that they have had a great camp. GM Bob Myers and head coach Steve Kerr also spoke on the incident. Myers went on to say that this is one of the best vibes he’s seen in his 12 years. Coach Steve Kerr further emphasized the point.
Meanwhile, Curry went a step further. He even said that the practice when the incident happened was also great. He added, “Vibe in practice was great. Obviously, an unfortunate situation that could have been avoided.”
The Warriors seem to be going around as if everything is okay. And they even came out and defended the two stars. Reports suggested that Green was very apologetic about the incident. But reports have also claimed that there was supposed a change in the behavior of Poole, which may have led to the incident.
