The NBA season 2022-23 kicked off last night. The Golden State Warriors faced off against the Los Angeles Lakers in their home arena, the Chase Center. The game was immensely entertaining, with stars from both teams putting up monster stats. Stephen Curry, the reigning Finals MVP, had an outstanding performance. Curry shocked the fans on one play from his ‘bag’ in the post when he embarrassed the opposition defender.


The new NBA season kicked off successfully last night, with two games from each conference. In the East, the Boston Celtics faced off against the Philadelphia 76ers. Stephen Curry surprises fans with his moves under the basket

Stephen Curry was the star of the night. He had an excellent performance on the floor with 33 points, 6 rebounds, and 7 assists. His contribution to the game helped the Warriors come out on top.

On a particular play in the first quarter, Curry was being guarded by the Los Angeles Lakers player Lonnie Walker. Curry tried his chances behind the arc but didn’t get any looks. He then ran towards the basket, trying to put off Walker but failed when Walker swiped the ball out of Curry’s hands. But Curry quickly recovered the ball, and in a surprising play, he pulled out the dream shake on Walker, seemingly putting him in a ‘blender’ and swished the ball in the basket.

Many fans were surprised by the guard’s new move inspired by the Houston Rockets legend, Hakeem Olajuwon. ?Curry gave an amusing reaction to the play in the post-conference after the game,?“I don’t think Coach will call plays to put me in the post yet.”?Curry remarked that he would have to use other moves from his ‘Bag’ as he believes the coach won’t allow him to play under the basket that often.?

The 6’2” nimble All-star point guard is known for his marksmanship and freakish off-ball movement. Many fans consider Curry to be the greatest shooter of all time. He is the All-time three points leader in both the regular season and the postseason. Combined with his deadly shooting, Curry also has excellent ball movement, making him easily evade the screens to pull up for a three-pointer. His play style has made him climb the ranks to become one of the game’s greats.
