The San Antonio Spurs are all set to break the all-time NBA attendance record at the Alamodome during the Friday night game against the Warriors. According to NBA.com, the Spurs’ management announced that they were only 5000 tickets away from breaking the all-time record. The Atlanta Hawks hold the current record when 62,046 fans visited Georgia Dome to witness Michael Jordan’s Chicago Bulls play against the Hawks on March 27, 1998.

Moreover, the Spurs are celebrating their 50 years anniversary during the Friday night game at Alamodome. Notably, they had Alamodome as their home ground between 1993-2002 until they shifted to AT&T.
The Dubs are currently in the sixth position in the Western Conference while the Spurs are in the 14th position.
