At the halfway mark, the Warriors were down by four points. They weren’t at their regular fluent best, the support wasn’t pouring in as it had been thus far, and Trae Young was running riot at the other end. Yet, 33-year-old Wardell produced some outrageous shots in a blowout third quarter. Though Jordan Poole played a potent supporting role, Curry was the man of the hour.
