The Los Angeles Lakers are the talk of the town right now. And right in the middle of it is Lakers starting point guard Russell Westbrook. The Lakers, led by LeBron James, Anthony Davis, and Russell Westbrook are 0-3 for the start of the season. The team has been really struggling to make long-range shots from beyond the arc. Whether that happens or not, LeBron James? teammate Russell Westbrook is being blamed for the Lakers’ downfall. Analysts, fans, and anyone who is a basketball fan can see Westbrook not living up to his game and performance.
Westbrook has a history with reporters
Westbrook has a tendency to lash out at media and reporters. He would have abstract responses to questions that he does not like. There are times when he would just cut off reporters from asking any more questions.
However, that is not going to stop the media or fans from taking shots at him. In fact, Westbrook is digging the hole even deeper by losing his cool during interviews.
Recently, a former Laker player chimed in on Russell Westbrook and how he deals with media and reporters. Kwame Brown spoke about Westbrook handling the media on his YouTube channel Bust Life.?
Brown said, ?I don?t think Russ is handling being talked about in the media all that well. He?s starting to act real sassy in interviews, starting to come across as pompous and arrogant.?
Brown went on to discuss the late-game situation the Lakers had in the game against the Portland Trail Blazers. Brown too, wondered why the team chose to chug up shots when they were already up.

Even though Kwame Brown did not say it, it is on everyone?s mind. Why Russell Westbrook did what he did in the late-game situation when the Los Angeles Lakers were already in the lead? Russ did not have a good post-game interview either.
He replied to almost every question with a very vague answer. And it did not seem like he was taking responsibility for his actions on the court. Even Laker legend Magic Johnson had this to say to Westbrook, ?First off, take accountability. If you don?t play well, admit it. Stop trying to fight the media and the fans and go out and perform.?
