However, most of them had a strong support system of friends and family to help them through their journey. Players like Shaquille O’Neal, Kobe Bryant, and Magic Johnson were some of the many superstars who had a calming presence back home in the form of their loving wives. Although Shaq and Shaunie parted ways over a decade ago, the Los Angeles Lakers legend’s ex-wife was instrumental in his success on the court.

Recently, Shaunie Henderson was present at an event in Atlanta to celebrate Women’s History Month. Her daughter Me’arah, among many others, was extremely excited seeing her mother appear in front of many to talk about her struggles and achievements as a woman in modern society.

Shaquille O’Neal had to face a lot of inner demons during his NBA career and Shaunie Henderson was his backbone during the turbulent time. The duo co-parented four kids together creating a lovely family. 

Incidentally, Shaq and Shaunie separated in what was a very public divorce, to move onto different paths in life. However, they have not let their separation come in between their kids as they still remain a happy family. 

In a recent event in Atlanta to celebrate Women’s History Month, Shaunie Henderson decided to speak a little bit of her story. Subsequently, her daughter Me’arah O’Neal alongside several fans flooded the comments section of her Instagram post of the event. Everyone appreciated her stunning and distinguished look in the pictures.

“Started off Women’s history month with a bang” wrote Shaunie in the caption, while her daughter and fans swarmed in with adulations and love for the 48-year-old.

Shaunie Henderson has come a long way since her separation with Shaq, as she married Pastor Keion Henderson in 2022 in a lovely ceremony. The newlyweds seem very happy in their conjugal life, as Keion has mentioned several times how lucky he feels to have Shaunie in his life.
