The NBA season is moving on to the next stage and things are getting exciting for fans, especially after the February 9 deadline. Meanwjile, a lot of veterans are leaving their permanent mark on the court. Over a week ago, LeBron James surpassed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar for the most points scored in NBA history. Recently, another NBA veteran has climbed his way onto the leaderboard, toppling the great Michael Jordan. Surpassing the Chicago Bulls legend might seem like an amazing feat on paper but NBA fans aren’t thrilled. On the contrary, they ended up trolling the Phoenix Suns star Chris Paul on Twitter.
Chris Paul recently passed Michael Jordan for the third place on the All-Time steals list. While this might be great news for the 12-time NBA All-Star, fans weren’t exactly thrilled with the news as Paul was bashed mercilessly on Twitter.

Despite the defeat against the Los Angeles Clippers on Thursday night, Chris Paul had some good news to take back home. According to the latest updated NBA records, Paul completed the 2,515th steal of his career, one more than Michael Jordan.
The Phoenix Suns guard completed this record against his former team. The NBA veteran is playing his 18th season in the league and his astonishing feat is an indication of sheer determination and dedication on the court all these years. His contributions to the team weren’t unnoticed from the beginning as he averaged 2.2 steals per game in his rookie season. The 37-year-old’s career average for steals stands at 1.6 per game, so indeed his talent was unquestionable from the start.?
However, fans couldn’t care less about all his achievements, especially when they faced their 28th loss on the night. They bombarded Twitter while mercilessly trolling Paul.

The Phoenix Suns sit in fifth position in their Conference with 32 wins. But if the lapses in judgment continue, they might land in trouble. Some of the teams in the Western Conference are neck-to-neck with the Suns, and a bad run of form could genuinely cost them. However, their recent trades before deadline day might give them some hope as they’ve managed to grab Kevin Durant from the Brooklyn Nets.

Phoenix Suns secure blockbuster trade bagging Kevin Durant
Just two days after Mat Ishbia acquired the Phoenix side, Kevin Durant packed his bags and bid adieu to the Nets. The Nets already lost Harden at the beginning of the season and also Kyrie Irving before the trade deadline to the Dallas Mavericks. Understandably, Durant thought of moving to greener pastures before impending shipwreck. The Suns already have the firepower with them in Devin Booker and Chris Paul. Hence, KD was a welcome addition to the squad. The Phoenix side has had lapses during the season and would want to crush their opponents on a safe route to the playoffs.
