Purchased in 2016 for $1.15 million, the mansion itself spans an impressive 7,400 square feet. In addition to eight bedrooms and ten bathrooms, Shaq’s property has undergone notable additions over the years. One recent purchase that he proudly displays is a customized pond, signaling his desire to create a serene and picturesque environment. Collaborating with Pondking water gardens, Shaq embarked on renovating his existing pond. By revamping his old pond, he seeks to transform his surroundings into a tranquil haven. Apart from his Atlanta residence, O’Neal also owns a french-style Mansion in Dallas, Texas.
The announcement of this collaboration was made by O’Neal on his Instagram account. They shared a map illustrating suggested changes for Shaq’s old pond. It included a tree box, a beach area, an upper pond, and a rock fireplace.

It’s worth noting that this ambitious project involved the utilization of a substantial amount of water—approximately 25,000 gallons. Seeking the expertise of a renowned company specializing in water feature design and construction, the former Laker spared no expense in elevating his pond to new heights.

The result is a spectacle that captivates both day and night. However, the piece uses a questionable water flow of 25,000 gallons per hour, but the water used will presumably be recycled, as is the case with modern fittings.
