It caught everyone’s attention when he moved within 89 points of the NBA’s all-time scoring record. The performance also resulted in him sitting in the 4th position on the all-time list of assists. On Tuesday night, James made a triple-double in a 129-123 win. To the team’s scoreboard, James contributed 28 points, 11 assists, and 10 rebounds.?

In that way, he reached his career point total of 38,299 points. Comparing this to Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, James is not too far from reaching his tally. The Lakers legend holds the record with 38,387 points. As a result of this performance, social media has been buzzing about it.

With James’ performance of lifting up the team in the league and setting a record, it is hard to miss him. It was even so for his Lakers coach Darvin Ham, who shared his thoughts, mentioning, ?He?s just doing it all,? according to Ham. ?That?s what great players do. That?s what all-time greats do, and he?s right up there at the top of the list with all of them.?
