The 24-year-old Bridges has spent his whole NBA career with Michael Jordan‘s Charlotte Hornets. He is one of the NBA’s young talents and a contender for the NBA’s Most Improved Player award. He has appeared in 291 games and averaged 13.4 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game so far in his career. But things changed when he became a restricted free agent this summer.
Bridges was one of the star players for the Charlotte Hornets for four seasons until he became a restricted free agent after the summer. Furthermore, many franchises were interested in him. However, he was then accused of domestic assault by his girlfriend. Bridges was arrested on June 29 for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend. After pleading no contest to the charges, Bridges was sentenced to three years on probation, without any jail time. The Los Angeles Lakers and the Detroit Pistons are reportedly?interested in signing him up and are currently monitoring his situation.

How will this trade help LeBron James and the Lakers?
Seeing the Los Angeles Lakers near the bottom of the Western Conference table is a shock arguably no one expected to see this season. And their struggle to win games is clearly evident. Furthermore, one of the team’s main flaws this season has been its shooting. Miles Bridges, on the other hand, is a player who can average 20 points a game and contribute significantly to the team. He has proved this during his tenure with the Hornets.

Adding Bridges to the starting lineup, along with LeBron James and Anthony Davis, could give the team a strong start. But none of this will be possible unless the legal allegations against him are resolved.
