The Memphis Grizzlies secured a big win against the Orlando Magic on Friday. Although Ja Morant and co. would be celebrating the crucial win, some fans have been wheezing about one particular gameplay in the matchup that turned heads. While rookie Paolo Banchero delivered a solid 30-point performance on a losing effort, many fans couldn’t help but notice Morant’s bizarre behavior during one particular move from the rookie sensation. When pointed out, Morant acknowledged the accusations against him, as fans couldn’t stop laughing at his hilarious comment. Many pointed out how it was a sensible move, as Morant would have been embarrassed by Banchero otherwise.
During the match, the Grizzlies superstar decided to walk away from Banchero’s inevitable poster dunk. An action that was lauded and ridiculed by fans simultaneously despite being the best that Morant could do at that moment.

Some people like NBA legend John Salley have touted Morant to be the face of the NBA in the future. If he continues his consistent performances, there’s no reason to believe that he wouldn’t fulfill Salley’s prophecy.
